We choose to operate under the internationally recognized ISO 9001 quality standards. Webster's Dictionary defines qual-i-ty as a degree of excellence. Excellence is what we strive for and is stressed throughout every level of our organization. Our team believes that excellence comes from doing more than just what you have to do to "get by", it means going above and beyond.

Message from Sherry DePerno

Advanced Tool's history began in 1975 when Harold "Butch" Lockwood, my father, started a small re-sharpening business out of his garage in Sauquoit, NY. Over the years, we have grown into a Premier Carbide End Mill Manufacturer with a foundation in tool design, specializing in difficult to mill and troublesome applications. In 2007, my husband Rob and I purchased Advanced Tool & Cutter Grinding and shortened the name to Advanced Tool, Inc.

Our forte is "Application Specific" or "Customer Specific" End Mills; it is in this market that we have grown and thrived. While our catalog represents standard product, we challenge any "off-the-shelf" End Mill to go against an End Mill designed for a precise customer application...there is simply no comparison! Our Engineering Department can assist with any technical aspects with regard to tool design and tool usage. Just give us a call.
